The Klaserie Private Nature Reserve hereby offers for auction to 1 privileged hunter, the opportunity to hunt the formidable African buffalo in a pristine Lowveld reserve.  An observer will be able to accompany you on the hunt.  The reserve has for many years hosted numerous professional hunters and their international clients, all of which have left with memorable experiences and truly exceptional trophies.

You will have to pit your wits against an old mature bull characterized by tattered eats and a stumpy tail, and will no doubt have an attitude to match.  The maximum horn spread - 37 inches.  The hunt will take place under the supervision of a qualified reserve representative.

The print “Where the Buffalo Roam” is an 8” x 10” authentic limited edition giclee print made from acrylic by Vickie McMillan.  This print was meticulously matched to the original acrylic in a cooperative effort between the artist and printer to attain a print that faithfully captures the essence of the original.  This print is number 8 of 50.   Vicky was selected as Houston Safari Club’s 2011 Featured Artist of the Year.

15.  Photograph of Black Rhino

 The 1 000mm x 1 420 mm photograph of a black rhino taken in June last year has received worldwide acclaim from the photographic and art community.  It is signed by Kim Steinberg and is printed on stretched artists’ canvas. 

Kim Steinberg, a single mother and artist/photographer was moved by the upsurge in rhino poaching over the past 5 years and felt a need to contribute something towards putting an end to this senseless massacre by selling prints of this picture. She was approached by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and they have supported this effort. Public support worldwide has been phenomenal with funds coming in from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. Recently the total raised by this selfless artist of R30 000 was handed over to the Imfolozi Anti-Poaching Unit.

22.  Walking specialist experience –  &Beyond Ngala Private Game Reserve

Ngala Game Reserve is nearly 15 000 hectares of prime big game country situated adjacent to the Kruger National Park with open boundaries, allowing free movement of huge buffalo herds, large numbers of elephant and high predator densities. 

The package is for 4 people for 2 nights – the first night you will explore the big game terrain with your specialist guide and tracker by vehicle, enjoy cocktails and a night drive.  The following day you will rise early to track Ngala’s big game on foot as long as you want to.  A private back up team will set up breakfast in the bush and lay out hammocks for a midday siesta along the banks of the Timbavati river.  An afternoon walk will end at a private sleep-out camp (with en-suite facilities for the ladies).  Enjoy the night under stars listening to owls, hyena and the rest of the night chorus.  The following morning will be your choice of activity and end for a hearty breakfast back at the Lodge.
