PHASA is pleased to announce the appointment of Francisco “Fresh” Mija as strategic advisor and Transformation Champion in the professional hunting sector and broader wildlife economy.
Fresh’s undergraduate and post graduate training and education focused on sustainable development. With over 12 years of experience as a development practitioner, his passion is the design, development and implementation of economic empowerment programs for the benefit of marginalised communities and individuals.
Fresh’s brief from PHASA’S Conservation and Empowerment Fund is to identify potential projects and passionate individuals with the potential to become entrepreneurs and add value to the wildlife and hunting economy.
Members are requested to embrace and support PHASA’s transformation initiative and assist by identifying innovative programs and possible candidates who can become sustainable SMME’s and businessmen and -women.
Fresh is also tasked to secure grants for development and empowerment programs and if all goes well, the transformation program should become self-sustainable within four months.
